Grant Support Contractor
A four-month role to carry this year's grant cycle from application through the first steps on the ground.
Role overview
This program moves money the way the ʻāina moves water — quickly, and toward what's already growing.
This role exists to make sure that pace holds: reviewing applications with care, getting the word out to the right hands, and staying present for grantees as their projects get underway.
Responsibilities

Oversee the volunteer review process. Coordinate 3 Kanaka Maoli community volunteers (plus IJT staff) to review all grant applications, November 1–10. Each volunteer receives a $250 stipend.

Spread the word. Distribute the grant opportunity to community organizations, elders, and local groups — including coordinating Facebook posts through community networks.

Be the point of contact. Available by email and phone to answer applicant questions and offer support through the process.

Build a living FAQ. Track recurring questions as they come in and turn them into an ongoing FAQ resource.
