Lucy Hope Patricio
Research, Storytelling & Community Readiness Fellow
Lucy is a dedicated social and environmental justice advocate whose work is rooted in a deep connection to the land. Born and raised in Kingston, Washington, she grew up surrounded by the natural world, an upbringing that continues to shape her commitment to protecting the places and communities she calls home.
Currently a student at the University of Washington, Lucy is a member of Indigenous Just Transition's inaugural Research, Storytelling & Community Readiness Fellowship. Through this program, she is building the skills to document, uplift, and amplify the stories that drive Indigenous-led justice work forward.
Lucy brings a genuine willingness to get to work, showing up with curiosity, humility, and a readiness to learn alongside the communities she serves. We're proud to have her as part of the IJT team.
